Whenever possible I like to take images using the reflective properties of windows or mirrors. It can give a bystanders view of the proceedings which is exactly what reportage photography should be. You get 2 images for the price of one with a reflection and an almost 3 dimensional quality to an image. For the first image of the bride getting in to the car the windows of the car provided the opportunity to show the groom waiting to enter.
For the second image taken on the high street in Windsor, the bridal party was walking to the golden mile for some group shots so I waited by a shop window to capture the scene. The fact that the image is a little unclear at first is what I like most about using reflections. It is nice to look at an image and have to think a little about it.
