I work very hard to try to be in the right time at the right place and to be as unobtrusive as possible. You really only get this by shooting a lot of weddings and paying attention the whole time. I feel very honoured to be entrusted to shoot weddings because I fully understand the importance of the day. I am being asked to capture images which will become your legacy. It is a huge responsibility and one which I take very seriously. My whole reputation lies upon the images I give you and my behaviour from our initial meeting to your final dance. Kind regards.....Simon
Wedding season 2015 kicked off with the wedding of Claire and Jon at the beautiful Eastington Park. Here is a sample of some of the moments of the day.
The couple chose to walk through Oxford from the Town Hall to the Isis tavern for their reception. Nearly everyone behind the bride is in the wedding party. And then.....a rather large and enthusiastic group of tourists gathered around the bride and groom to have pictures taken with them.
These images are priceless for the couple and I am so glad when moments like this present themselves on a wedding day
This coming Sunday I will be at the above wedding fair. The Old Swan is a delightful wedding venue and I am proud to be their recommended photographer. Any one is welcome and it is a chance to meet me, view my work and talk about your wedding day.
Couples who employ me benefit from a pre wedding photoshoot. It is amazing how many couples do not have a photo of them both together (except for the obligatory self held iphone picture with a stretched out arm !!)
Our pre wedding shoots provide 10-20 fun images of the couples which I hope will fill the gap on the mantlepiece or wall....
Here are a couple of images from this weekends' shoot at Blenheim Palace;
The groom gets left out of the morning images so often that it was a treat when Tim (the groom on the right) and Briony (the bride) were getting ready in adjacent rooms at the hotel. I was lucky enough to catch this moment and managed to stay out of the shot at the same time !
